Bottled my first batch of Toxxyc's Pale Ale today. Now for the wait.

Tomorrow or Wednesday I start with an all grain IPA brew.

Yeah guys, give it enough time in the drum. Seriously. I am mos slim. I am mos quick to do these things. So I bottled too early, using crappy caps to boot. While moving a crate yesterday, a cap shot off and hit me in the face. I have a bottle-cap shaped cut in my cheek to show for it.

    Ha ha shame man

I am rather moerig abou brewmart's bottle caps - the plastic 1L ones I bought from them specifically for this task. Many of them the screw on plastic caps simply dont seal properly, resulting in many of the bottles not building up the fizz...

Gonna try my capper next time and use the bunch of 750 and 1L bottles I have left over from the cases I bought from my friendly bootleg suppliers during lockdown

Odd. Those plastic bottles usually seal pretty well?

As jy die reels volg is dit nie so bad nie. Ek het net amper al die reels gebreek. Ek het nie die FG getoets nie, ek het te vinnig gemaak en in die middel van 'n koue front aangeneem die bier is klaar gefermenteer. Toe is dit nie. So maklik soos dit.

Got my 2 x cubes on 4 Aug, only pitched one(worried about bottling?), this is the 1st glass after following instructions below. The other was 2 weeks later, so just bottled. the taste just wants me to travel to find that craft beer taste again. Well done, as you can see, your timing may have been bad since the ban has been lifted. The way I see it most are only now appreciating your concept, like myself. I will order another 2 thanks.

I just had my second one tonight and must admit it just gets better. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks in the bottles.
A bit too much sediment in the bottom of the bottles but I was short handed with the syphoning process and I am not too concerned about that. Just looks a bit dof...

I am impressed with the final product.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I have plenty of stock that's simply not moving, and I need them gone. I'll be running a R400/kit special soon (probably this afternoon still), so if you want to order, now is the time. I need to move this stock and get it fermented ASAP!

Ai Toxy.... . I just bottled my 2nd cube yesterday. But if you running another special.... Please sign me up for 2....

My wife is getting angry at the fact that there seems to be fermenting beer in cubes now on a permanent basis, somewhere in the house, and yesterday she had to help with the bottling.

OK so this took longer than I expected. Sorry guys. Use code #get200 for R200 off on your orders!

Also, I have 8 cap spanners here. Orders of 2 or more will get a free cap spanner thrown in (while stocks last) so you can easier open your cubes, and even use them again in the future. Go to www.lazyhunter.co.za/shop to get yours ASAP!
