I recently bought 2 x 200AH deep cycles. You get normal deep cycles and then you get carbon versions that are more expensive, but offer more discharges and deeper discharges than the non-carbon versions. I baulked at the proce, but eventually bought the carbon versions.

So that is more than decent. If you PM me your email I can send you the datasheet. What capacity are you looking for?

I recently bought 2 x 75ah Varta deep cycle battery from Tyremart in Durbanville. Price was better than two other places I asked.

Whilst we are on this subject which is better Gel or Lead? Think I was told for solar the Gel. But what if you are using Solar and your NL Grey box to charge batteries?

The GEL is also a lead acid battery. Only use GEL instead of normal acid plus water.

Donít blame yourself over past mistakes. Itís like driving down the N1 while looking in the rear view mirror only.

At least one guy that feels like I do. Not worth the risk and effort to get a refund.

    Thank you.

What solution (battery & DC Charger) would you recommend for two fridges, NL 50 and NL 90?

My call will be a Victron Orion Smart. 18A version should be more than enough.
