    Yeah with that pull it should hardly ever come on. I had my fridge connected to it too, the fans drove me up the wall.

    It is very easy to reduce the speed of the fans but then one must check that the components inside(FETS) don't overheat. On the Changi the fans only come on over 300W. Should one not load the 1500/3000W Changi over 800W it should be fine. Also it seems as if the Changi speeds only goes up in proportion the the load over 300W.
