Die GD6 ry amper net so lekker soos n Prado. Maar seker nog by n VW se ry gerieg nie.

Well done Nys, congrats, the 105 in my opinion is THE cruiser to own. My best memories from the 7 Cruisers I have owned comes from the 105.

I had both 80 and 105 in 4.5 EFI, they like to drink a bit but bulletproof and unstoppable.

It will tow your BL with ease and places that will scare you if you wish.

You will miss the comforts and power deliver of the Treg, but once off the tar you will soon discover the true value of the 105.

Hope you will soon be able to drive it

I can get my hands on a VERY VERY neat 105 cruiser, 2007 model with 165k km on. Some extras like:

    Replacement bullbar and rear bar
    Extra battery with NL solenoid
roof console with place for CB

    Price........250k.

Walter (About Africa) had a look at it for me today (is in Swakop) and sent me about 50 pics. Not even a spec of rust. Harregat duitser se kar (soon to be gewees.)

So. Convince me not to get it Flame away Toy boys. I know you don't want me in your corner

NB: this will be my camp and play car. The Treg stays. I am trying to convince Swambo to let go of her Polo, then she can take the Treg, but she hasn't bitten yet

If you are such an Amarok fanboy, why are you even looking at a Toyota? Especially, if as you say, you are such a vocal antagonist. Laat jou ja ja wees en jou nee nee. Bly by VW.

Baie mooi Cruiser daai, geniet hom.

That price is very very good , In SA I advertised and sold my 2007 105 efi Petrol with 123000km for R 400K (and bought it back) with FSH, Ironman 2inch lift, dual batt, compressor, 185l longranger fuel tank, dual wheel carrier, 2 gull wings, seat covers,

I see that a 2002 105 efi Petrol with 78000km is talked about on the cruiser forum for R 250k

    BUY iT !!!! good value

I would be interested to hear about the remap once you have it, will you get the dyno printout as well?

Standard you can feel there is always enough torque, but it is not a fast car.

Has a chip in which was done by Namib Dyno, so would be a Dastek.
On the test drive it pulls well, would be interesting to see on long road what consumption is.
Doubt there will be a dyno sheet though unfortunately.

No stress, must say I was quite impressed how easily it managed to spin all 4 wheels on pull away without having to rev it up too much. Even with those MT's on dry tarmac.
