    Question Gaskets

I used to use a company called "Gasket Manufacturing" in Alrode to manufacture gaskets for me for all my old classic stuff I work on. They however unfortunately sold out to "Lerechabetse Engineering, who promptly stuffed everything up and went bust!
I have since ised a company in Edenvale"Gaskets SA", but although their work is ok, I am not happy with the quality of either the material or finished product.
Gasket Manufacturing either laser cut or had dies made for the gaskets, but Gasket SA hand cuts them? And as I am delivering a premium product, I want better quality than they can or do offer.
The green and black ones are the original, and the thin velamoid ones are the quality I am now being offered??
Any leads as to where I can get gaskets cut?

If you are prepared to pay premium prices for your premium gaskets, you could try Flexitallic.

They have a huge range of specialised materials to suit applications.

Mark, is it not possible to learn to do this yourself? You would save a lot on your input costs. Perhaps some of the gaskets you could do yourself, maybe not all.

    +1

Laser cutter/engraver would be best but it is the expensive option.

Some entry level engraver with a spindle cutter. A4/Desktop size would be big enough.

Sean, at nearly 70, I have been making gaskets since I was about 14! And yes I could do them myself, I have all the bell punches etc, but, as I sell a lot of my parts overseas, I want something "Professional" as per the pic of the green one!
I just find it amazing that a company that calls itself"Gaskets SA" wants to sell me scissor cut gaskets
