Default Melkbos 4x4 fun and mishaps

First day out in the Zook...Loads of fun, never got stuck. Well, that's a lie, I ended up with a dead short. After a bit of fun, the fuel injection fuse blew as soon as I touched the ignition. Auto Electrician tomorrow! Yay! Maybe that's a blessing in disguise though, it has a 90s immobilizer...if you've ever had one, you know the pain I've lived through

Scott, thanks for being my knight in shining armor!

Oh! And thanks to the guy in the Wrangler you got me out of the bottom of the dome. Hopefully your clutch isn't too damaged! Adn thanks to the guys in the 80 series who tried to help! Much appreciated! I love the 4x4 community! Didn't have to ask, people just came up to help. Love it!

Also, anyone know a good but CHEAP auto electrician in Cape Town, Northern Suburbs? In these coronatimes, money is a lot tighter than usual...

Anyway! Heading back as soon as she's A-okay again and I want to take on the big boy hill, all else has been conquered

Oh! And the puppers loved it too! Lekker skottle braai and all is well in the world!

it has been a couple of years since i left CPT.

but there is an honest, at least i found her to be, and very capable, auto elec in Durban road, i can not remember the name of the outfit, but this is the best directions.

She is next to Rosenpark Motors (also honest and good mechanic) in Rosenpark business complex, Bella Rosa street close to Tyger valley.

Google maps should do the trick.

Both these companies did very good and honest work for me in the past and i found them to be very reasonable. (so much so that i transported a vehicle from PE to them to get repaired)
