Them things only come into play when you charge money for use of the facilities.

A well-known Nissan fan/fundi on this forum has a stunning campsite & trail.

Use of it is free, gratis, verniet & mahala.

If they feel like it, those making use of the facilities are free to gift a donation though...

Donations can be arranged without receipt

But then, are you in North West Province? Border to GP must be close to you if I am correct.

You see Peter... Now this comment is better. And I would camp now, because as of the 20th of April, I have had to go to work every day and use shared ablutions in any case. I have fortunately learned how to do it correctly, and to get on with life.

I would happily go camping and take my bottle spray sanitizer along to the ablutions!

    Problem? No problem!!

Was thinking about the same all businesses that are open have shared ablutions and so do the malls? Surely cant be used as a valid reason to keep campsites closed?

Jokes aside. I am scared if being stopped by metros en route to the site. "And where are you off to, sir?"

Sort of... I heard it is "by country" and only countries with very low case numbers, and 14 days mandatory quarantine...

If I were them, I'd most definitely not open up to South Africa/South Africans.

And it pains me to say that, because I absolutely love that place.

    I agree.
And to add: I wouldn't trust an open border. They can get slammed shut very quickly again.

Naby Bonnievale. Bel en vra vir hul Bush Camp. Geen elektrisiteit maar Donkie. Lopende water en gras. Spoel toilette. "Rustic" naby lekker swem dam.Ook n pragtige 4x4 roete by berg op. So 2na 3 gradering

"...private small campsites open near Cape Town area"

Try Charlie Crowther at Glen Oakes Farm, 028 2122150. He has a very nice camp site and will know what the rules are. The farm is about 17km south of Caledon. Or how about Reenen, near Greyton?
One must wait till evening to see how splendid the day has been

Klipkrans is the one near Worcester

Will be in the Gifberg next week. Always flowers around.
Just do not only look for "plate" of flowers. a lot of different species hide in between the rietbos.
