Bought two. Had to do some bush bashing in the meantime on the farm. No punctures after that. The Bighorns would have been flat after that. No punctures on the KM2 in the about 5+ year period.
Traction in the sand is obviously not the same as the KM2's.
If traction on tar (wet) is a requirement then certainly its worthwhile looking at them. Not sure if they will compare km wise.

So three questions.
1 What was the original tread depth?
2 What are the noise levels like?
3 Do they give a harsher ride than your previous tyres?
Thanks in advance.
I'm asking because my BFG KO2 are nearing their end of life.

My AT3Gs have now done ~21000km. I'm due to update on my current tread depth ASAP.
1. ~12mm
2. In my Hilux, I can't hear road noise. Might be me, might be the car, might be the tyres. Either way, it's a non-issue.
3. I run them at 2.4bar. Any harshness I have is from the bakkie suspension, not the tyres.
Overall, I'm very impressed, given the price.

My AT3G's are doing well , no punctures and I use them in rough terrain, lots of sharp stones and big thorns.

Road noise is barely more than the grabbers and wranglers on my work vehicles.
I have noticed a harsher ride. Previous bridge stones I ran on 2 bar on the fortuner, the Dunlop’s are on 1.8 bar.
Tires are now approaching 40000km and tred is still looking very good, no signs of any damage on any of the tyres. I have got a small nail in the back left tyre that is just in the tred. Will pull it out this afternoon.
still very happy with the tyres, looking at putting them on the work hiluxes and cruisers in the coming months. (If we can find stock)

2010 Suzuki jimny(sold)
2014 Isuzu KB250dteq double cab 4x4(Snorky8)) Tough Dog suspension, RSI canopy, Opposite lock Bull Bar and rear bumper, Safari Snorkel
Fitted to my 2010 petrol Fortuner. Armada suspension lift. Previous tyre, Duelers.
Currently on 18000km, can hardly see any wear.
Heavily loaded through Richtersveld, Tankwa twice, no issues, including the famous R355. Just black marks on side walls, no penetration.
1. Road noise not intrusive. (remember the petrol is very quiet)
2. Consumption went up by around 0.5l/km. Not much difference between 2.0bar and 2.5bar.
3. Heavy tyre if you carry it on roof rack.
4. Rigid side walls. Had to deflate to 1.5bar for proper gravel ride, 1.0 bar on heavy corrugated roads.
5. Breaking on tar not as good as Duelers.
6. Crawling grip over very rough terrain, excellent.
7. Good price.
8. Peace of mind.
Will I buy again. Yes, if I keep on doing the drives I do.
Only my 2C.

Mileage depends a lot on the road surface you are doing. The guys around here (Upington to Pofadder) did 80 000 on a set of Cooper AT3's and we only managed 45 000 - 50 000 on Klein Pella , I usually got 30 000 on Wranglers.

I received a quote today on these from HiQ in Bryanston; I assume the fact that they quoted means they can get stock. This is what they quoted me on : 265/65R17LT DUNLOP AT3GM 120/1 - is that the right thing
Price quoted R2,747.83 excluding VAT. Is that a fair price?
I want to make a decision this week to have them fitted before next weekend's 3Provinces...

Did the click-2-fit thing on the 21st. Made the booking for fitment for yesterday 25th. The message I received back said"
"Thank you, we have received your request.
The dealer will contact you to confirm your fitment.
I called them this morning since I have yet to heard back from them confirming the booking. I was told that they do not do bookings, do not use click-2-fit, and do not have stock of the required tyres anyway.
FWIW, I am in PE and require 4 X 265/75-16 AT3Gs
