We lost out on a Matamba weekend due to school holiday dates changing in April. For now we have a booking at Doorndraai in the beginning of August. I just so, so, so much hope we can go. If we miss that weekend, then that is it for the rest of the year and it will mean we have not camped once this year for a just weekend.

    And then Maroela for December.

Glad, in a way, we have not booked and planned a cross border trip like last December. However I yearn for the bushveld and the Kalahari and Namibia and Botswana.

I even thought of taking a drive to Dinokeng or Pilanesberg (see Jens) but my son is preparing for exams and a Saturday or Sunday just cannot be sacrificed at the moment.

Any place with hot water pools, even if they heat it with a boiler.

We have a kgalagadi booking in January, crossing to Mabua and out bots side. If the Bots borders arent open yet, hopefully they will let us enter and exit Mabua via kgalagadi on the SA side. Fingers crossed.
