    Default Sunday 5th July braai.

A few people have asked me to organize a braai just to get out a little, the bring and braai will be held at the New Germany Nature reserve on Sunday the 5th of July from about 11am on wards. Social distancing will be observed at all times, the area is quite large and can accommodate a few people.

It seems unfortunately that New Germany GR may remain closed during July as per
    https://businesstech.co.za/news/gove...-south-africa/

I have not checked any other source.

It seems that SANPB reserves are open for dau visitors in their own vehicles (Self drive), not for camping and the picnic sitesw remain closed.
From this I think that we may fond that NGGR is also still closed.
Heinz if you have contacts there maybe you could check?

    Bump..

For the members close by, try and attend. Heinz is awesome company and has a wealth of knowledge.

Logistics my side precludes me from attending but wish we could nevertheless.

Thumbs up Re: Sunday 5th July braai.

Hi everyone, do we still have people interested to get together for the braai on Sunday? I have spoken to the new owners of Killarney 4X4 and we can go there on Sunday. The coast per person going will be R100.00 and catering for yourself.

That gives a few days to get the groceries and go shisa nyama.

If this is on then we can make it.
Won't even show on the diesel gauge which has been stuck in the full position for the last three months.
I will need to pump the tires so we can deflate if needed.
I'm guessing the fee includes the 4x4 track for those wanting to do it.
