Default Citrus Wood - Port Elizabeth

I buy my Citrus Wood for R30 (streepsak size) at a Garage in Uitenhage. Unfortunately I sold my Venter Trailer, so I can't collect anymore.

Does anyone perhaps sell Citrus Wood on the forum that one can support (to deliver)? I currently have 10 bags left, so I would like to have a number handy when the time comes for the next load.

Excellent! Even if they have a minimum order quantity, that will make my day.

    Thanks Roberto!

It apparently burns cleaner and coals last longer.

but it can - depending on the species - be very nice to smoke with. Wish I could get some in Gauteng- Apple, cherry, grape...

The wood in question is lemon or orange, depending what is available.

Haha, it's actually my first choice for steak, burning quite hot but the coals don't last long enough and are too hot for chicken so I mix with rooikrans.

Thanks, I live close to him. But his prices are R40-R50 for the same streepsak I buy for R30 in Uitenhage. I buy 20 to 40 bags at a time, so you can imagine the price difference.

Where do you buy it in Uitenhage at that very attractive price? And is it a full streepsak?

I buy the smaller plastic bags of citrus for my fireplace from a friend near PE golfcourse for R25 a bag. R30 for a streepsak sounds a little cheaper. How about we go together in my VW transporter panelvan? You cover the fuel costs and help load and unload yours? I could probably load 60-80 bags at a time. Let me know.
