Default The 2020 Epic River Trip (Part2)

    Update on trip plans:

We meet at a spot near Giyani on the 7th at 9am. The exact spot will be shared nearer to the date.

After a drivers briefing, the convoy will be formed and we will leave for the river.

Please try and be on time guys, I will share my telephone number with all of you at a later stage, so that we start a what’s up group for you to share any issues or comms before the meeting point, but it is quite important that we are not late into the river. We are quite a big group and it takes time for everyone to adjust to river driving... (read: a lot of bogging)

The plan is to leave the river by the Monday from wherever we have progressed by Sunday night, so that those who need to be back at work on Tuesday can get there.

Please be reminded that it is a long weekend and that the N1 will be heaving on that Monday.

Please share with me who of you is going for the first time?

    Thanks

Would be nice to travel to the meeting point together. How could we go about that?

Most will travel to various points closer to Giyani the afternoon before, sleepover and then go meet the Friday morning.

Itís best to find out who might be traveling when you are, and from where, then arrange with them

Gents, my situation is such that I won't make it.

But I will be on standby.

I really miss going into that river system.

Please note that if we do not have confirmation that the borders are open by the last week, I will have to cancel this trip. Unfortunately packed 4bees will attract a lot of unwanted attention, not to mention some prying might happen in the river itself. And that, we do not want.
