I will be bringing my own braai goeters, and boeries will be made, we usually park up and then start chatting.. those that want to braai, can braai, those that want to bring a packed picnic, no worries. You decide what and how you would like to have your meal. I have no idea if the lodge sells food, but I doubt you could buy something while we are out on the route

    AS per Hedge's reply.

This run I am bringing premade brekkie rolls but you can bring food to cook if you wish. Gas might be more convenient as we dont know how many braai facilities there are and we have 18 vehicles so far.

Also bring refreshments etc for the trail. I wouldnt rely on buying food at the lodge this trip.

I'm always keen on doing an outing like this but yaaiks 20 vehicles how long does it take to do the course? Surely by the time number 20 starts number 1 has already finished. I've got ants in my pants so playing the waiting game really works on my nerves. But maybe I'm missing the point

My nephew, Andrew, changed his mind. The 4x2 will stay at home. He asked his friend with a 3.2 Everest to accompany him. They will be 4 people.
