Busy with final offer.
I have never seen such an original and complete Series 1 type 109 year 1957.
Complete with correct chassis number.
Engine is a 2.0 litre Original but its not the correct year. Its a 1953 engine.
Lots or work Firewall gone, engine seized.
But in general besides the engine its never been molested at all.

Turns out from all the History from UK that is the De Luxe Cab.
Why i have been chasing this one is because it is untouched even the old wiring.
Just the engine is older than it should be.
Series 1 is a 1957
Engine is 1953
Should be done deal by Friday or Saturday

Not sure what I'm seeing.
Looks like a screw stuck in-between the valve and the cylinder head.

Yes, as far as i know the 1953 engine had the exhaust valve in the block.
This seems to have a nail or pin jammed in the head inlet valve so you cant turn the engine.
I hope its only that. If the inlet seat is damaged can that be repaired ?

Did not want to go further till the station wagon is finished.

Seat can be repaired and steel inserts are required for unleaded anyway.

Update on this one.
Police Engine and Chassis clearance DONE. (Paper said UNKNOWN) Now its 100% legit.
MICRO DOT DONE.
WOW, so the guy comes in and takes out 1 small aerosol can.
He sprays the chassis all over, the body all over the place.
I said i am completely restoring this Veeehicle, sandblasting the chassis and everything.
Will not be repainting, can i please have that Micro dot can and redo when i am done in a few years

NO, you cant have the tin, it is held as "evidence" with all the paperwork and the unique microdot number ?
When you look at the microdot on the body, how on earth is it possible that the dots are the same each time.
The dots are formed as he sprays the paint out ?
