    Question Regristration of new home built trailer advice please

    Hi i have this trailer and need to get it legally on the road. Anyone done this ? TIA.

    The trailer need to be checked by the police. You need to supply as many receipts of materials, spares and proof(photos of the build) etc, as possible. Once you have aproval from the SAP, most of the worries are out of the way. The trailer needs to be weighed. Roadworthy certificate. Datadot before registration. Also speak to your local licencing office for requirements. Be prepared to do a bit of running around. A smile and a laugh, good manners and patience, will help a lot.

    It is a major run around to get a home built registered.
    As indicated in previous post.

    Try and approach a trailer manufacturer maybe they can help
