Default Daily runner is FUBAR, Help?

Hundai i10 daily runner, sitting in the garage since lockdown.
Thought it be a good idea just to run the engine for a few minutes to get lube spread again.
    Got this.
    Any ideas?
    What do I do?

Have a look at this vid:

Meh, bat flattery, not a biggie.
Problem arises depending how old it is, how flat it is and whether it recovers it's capacity. Run it for a good 30 minutes to charge it up properly, and leave a few days before starting it again to see if the battery holds charge.

You may be in for a new battery sometime.
    Cheers,
    John

So many people don't realize that older cars need battery charged whilst care not being driven for long periods and with colder weather. Even newer ones after a while will need charging.

plenty of pensioners who drive 2 to 3 km several times per day and then wonder why the cars battery packs up prematurely.
Not enough distance traveled to recharge the battery
Add a week or 5 of standing with tracker using electricity and bingo battery dead

smart charger or trickle charger is a must have over long periods of car standing still, now that winter is going to hit even more so.

    Charge battery.

Sound is the starter gear/rotor solenoid becoming a "klokkie".

Due to very low battery, there is barely enough current to move the solenoid, but when it makes contact the starter coils draws all the current available to the point that there is no more current left for the solenoid to resist the return spring....it then moves back and then current becomes available again because the starter coils has been disconnected.... and then the cycle repeats.....tiki, tiki, tok
