Default Ford Ranger 2017 or later Wildtrak /XLS / XLT?

So the lockdown are making me itch for a 4x4.

I enjoy the luxury of a nice big sedan (currently drive a Ford Fusion Tdci with all the extra's.

I'm not a bakkie lover, but test drove a ranger 4x4 once. I do have a need to have a bakkie - (at times) and thus do not want to go SUV.

Budget is around R400k, depending on trade in value (no idea what I'll be offered yet)

    Must haves:

    Sync 3
    Climate control
    Electric seats

    Like to haves:
    heated seats

So far I Think the Wildtrak will have the bells and whistles.

I don't like towing, and I also don't have the need to speed, thus I think the 2.2tdci should be good enough.

Q1. Does the 2017 Ranger XLS or XLT 2.2tdci come with the Must haves? Which year model?

Q2. Is the wildtrak the only option, but that is the 3.2?

    Thanks

You on the right track. I wanted to replace my 2013 3.2 and on advice they said any model Ranger after middle 2017 is better. The R400k might be a bit low when I looked around it was R430k + but depends in kilometers and condition. With current conditions with cash you might get away under R400k .

Was there a facelift mid 2017?

Some remaining warranty would be good. What’s insurance like on 4x4 ‘s?
