    Default Digital Magazine subscriptions

What are you guys using? I have been very happy with MySubs. Now I see they don't have Leisure Wheels or SA 4x4 anymore. The Weg Ry&Sleep, cannot really be subscribed to as you have to buy a single copy every month. I previously used [email protected] when I still order print copies. With print copies you get a free digital copy in PDF format, if I remember correctly. They do have Leisure Wheels on a monthly subscription but they doe not have a specific mobile app for reading on the tablet. One can download a PDF for reading, but I got so used to the MySubs app.

Leisure Wheels does have a subscribe option on their web page, but it does not work. I will try again.

Ek doen Media24 se R99-00/m subskripsie. Dan kan kry ek n paar koerante en ook 11 tydskrifte. Dit sluit in Weg en Weg Ry/Sleep + n paar vir die vrou.

CNA doesn't have the facilities where I can go and sit and read.

Mmm.... The Weg only is BWP105-60 per month. https://www.magzter.com/ZA/Media24/Weg!/Travel/

My Media24 deal is ZAR99 per month for a bundle. Including the Weg.

PS. I'm only mentioning the WEG as an example.

Does Magzter allow PDF download, or can you only read online.....

I am on this package and really enjoy it. It does not have all the mags I would like included, but you can subscribe to those separately.
What I enjoy is browsing through the 1,000s of titles and finding magazines that I would never buy but still have very interesting articles. Last week found a aviation magazine(I am not a pilot) which had very very interesting articles on the experiences of long time pilots. 95% of the titles are of no interest but there is always something to read.
I even read The Beano every week takes me back 60 plus years.

I have seen that with the app you can download the title for offline reading. I could not see if one can download a PDF version from your desktop. I note that Leisure Wheels is not part of the Gold Club. But then all the other titles one can get for their current special of R449 for a year is not bad.

Was using mysubs, but their service seems to have taken a dive. They donít keep 2 of the titles I used to get fro them. Their phones just rings and they donít respond to email also.

So I went to Zinio. They had some BlackFriday deals...maybe not the same price as the bundle deals that mysubs had. The downside of Zinio is that it seems that you cannot download the magazines in pdf and have to view it view their app, online or via a viewer you install on your pc. Have been using Zinio for a few years for an international title.

Both my wife & I use Magzter. With the gold subscription you can have up to 4 other people take advantage of your subscription at no extra cost. Magazines are downloaded to your device to read with their app. No need to be online to read once downloaded. No PDF download but some articles can be printed. If a magazine has been downloaded and deleted from your device it can be downloaded again at no extra cost (except data of course). Great app.

I have purchased a single issue of SA 4x4 to try it out.

I just can't get the hang of reading magazines/ books on some device so I buy hard copies now and again if and when finances allow.

Edit: Sorry OP I'm not much help with regards to the question.

I like reading and became used to reading on the tablet. It has become the norm now that the children will take out annual subscriptions around my birthday. For me it works quite nice.

If you like Leisure Wheels then subscribe to it and wait for a special price for the gold subscription. Comes out from time to time.

I've tried it but for me it doesn't work, I love the feel and smell of paper too much.

I don't throw away things easily. Magazines taking up space were frowned upon in the house..... Anyways, now everybody is happy

I see the first few reviews for the android app are not very encouraging, have you experienced any delays in the next issue of a magazine not been available.....my wife must have her YOU weekly, otherwise it's a bad week....
