Default No more V6 or manual transmission Fortuners

This afternoon I read that Fortuners will no longer be available with V6 engines or with manual transmissions.

It is mentioned that the 4x4 guys prefer the manual transmission for steep downhills because of engine braking, but apparently the electronics can now take care of that.

Disagree, I have to put my FJ in cc to slow it down, L1 tends to run a bit.

Then that L1 ratio is different.

My automatiese SUV is hoër gerat as die handrat, selfde enjins en jaar modelle.

Daarom is n handrat voertuig beter as die kom by “engine braking” by steilte af.

Will this make the slightly older V6's 2018/2019 more desirable or will it drop the resale value?

The V6 will be missed as will the manual's.

But, these will not be the first to get this treatment, nor the last. Manual will become an option like automatic used to be.

I remember walking through the Ford Dealership in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and with over 100 F-series in stock, not a single one was manual. Sales rep told me to get a manual you need to place special order. Even F350's were all auto's
