    Default BSA bantam bushman rebuild

    So I plan to document the process , I recieved the bike in.pieces from an inlaw. It was used fof trials and last ridden around 30 years ago. First step cleaning and sorting the bitsClick image for larger version.

    I had a 1948 125cc Bantam. ( Bicycle seat saddle, Brookfield exhaust etc)

    and a, much faster, ‘moderner’ ...

    19?? 175cc Bantam ( fairly conventional at that stage, as Honda was reaching prime )
    and ...
    19?? 125cc Ducati, high reviver ... built like a racer !

    ... but that was in the Sixties when us tail-end boomers had a ball ...

    ... Real Bikes were Norton Commando s, Triumph Bonnivals (+Kawa 500s !?) and a few old Matchless and AJSs etc
