Default KB5: Antenna, Maf & Window winder

I had the radio antenna replaced professionally with an old style whip type on the LF fender. Now we can listen RSG where we could never.

The MAF sensor was cleaned and I have a "brand new engine installed". Cannot believe such a difference in performance is possible.

Driver door window winder buttons stopped working. Left door still good. Agents asks R5600 (read again Five Thousand Six Hundred Rand) for a new unit! Opened the little box and found a loose solder connection. Re-soldered and bob's your uncle!

    hi.

how did you have the MAF cleaned? did you take it in or do it yourself?

my driver winder is slow to wind up, agents told me its the regulator (from his desk, didnt even have to go and check!) but i noticed the other day in the rain, that if the window is wet, it rolls up and down perfectly.

i think maybe some C-thru on the window may work.

    Dan

The maf was cleaned with ultrasonic at Diesel Electric.

Try Q20 on the window slides?

I think I am going to get a whip antenna to, have even swapped radios and no better reception.
