All this water will end up in Kariba dam.

Apparently this flow is the largest since records were kept from the early 1960's.

Bit ironic due to lockdowns no tourists to view the spectacle!

    Eish! VIRTUAL overlanding !

I have been doing that for more than a year now; and living vicariously through the experiences of others.

So now - locked-down, I just stare blankly at my VIRTUALLY 22 year old Isuzu 4x4 with VIRTUALLY 500 K on the clock and the 1997 trailer parked off to one side ... pump their tyres, charge her battery ...
When I was still allowed to do so, abouit once a month I would take her all 15 Km (one way) down the tar road to Makro in Springfield for some bulk shopping and back home.
Maybe that is kind of overlanding MINI version.
After all, there is a steep incline down and back up, with some potholes, yes ?
Maybe next time I should take the trailer and set up the RTT just because.

    OK, This is TOTALLY OT.

    Sorry.
    Me being frustrated me.

Peter - Lockdowns are a good opportunity for longer term trip planning!
Is the Richtersveld calling you again or Caprivi?
Your last trip was one of the best!

    I am looking at 2021!

Amazing footage. It is on my "bucket list"!

Those trying to access international sites (which I assume Vic Falls are) will experience some difficulties due to a fault on our lines:
