Default EAS Engine and Gearbox Supply: Anybody know them?

Toying with a cruiser build (thus the post in the Toyota section, please move if required mods?) and just wanted to know if anybody has dealt with these guys. They seem to have a good selection of motors, typical importer conditions such as floor start and then not much in terms of warranty after that.

    Anybody dealt with them?

I bought a 3ZZ motor from them. After collection you have 7 days to fit the motor and take it for inspection. Only then the 30 day garuntee starts.

Mine smoked a bit, no problem they said. Bring it back znd choose another one. I did that and my 2nd one is still in. Perfect motor, light on feul, no hazzles. Oh, you must service it as well, they want the proof as well.

Very helpfull people, will buy from them anytime again AND recomend them.

    Thanks Chris, thats positive

Always wary about these types of things.

So where do these motors come from? Are all imports or are some salvaged locally. See they punt the fat that motors have between 50k to 100k km on?

Reece, all of them are imports. Most mazda and toyota comes from Japan and they are very strict on outlet gass from cars. Hence the low kilos on the engines.

I will be at them shortly for a rotery which my son and i are gonna start a project beetle, but first finish this project beetle bakkie we started now.
