    Hi everyone

As you all know by now Michiel passed away on 06/04/2020 from a pulmonary embolism after being in hospital with severe pneumonia (not covid-19) for more than 3 weeks. He fought bravely and endlessly to come home, but God had other plans for him. I stayed with him and held his hand till the end.

I created a profile to thank everyone on the forum personally for your thoughts and prayers during Michiel's illness. He loved this forum and being able to contribute to it and share knowledge and help out anyone where he could.

He was the kind of person who always went above and beyond for anyone who needed his help - whether he knew them for 5 minutes or a lifetime. (that made no difference to him). He was the kindest, most loving person and the absolute best husband to me.

I am keeping the "Beast" (as he called it)
Cannot bear the thought of letting it go.

Thank you again for your support during this very difficult time. I know he is in a better place now and smiling down on us.

He always spoke very highly of the forum members. Thank you for letting him be part of your "family".

    Warm regards

    Surina

Sincere condolences to those family and friends left behind. I am not going to say what a great guy he was other than he was one of us. That is enough to describe the love and respect of his forum family.

Rest peacefully Michiel, thanks for your contributions and friendship
