    Default Tyre choice Daihatsu Terios

Hi, I am also stuck with tyre choice! We have a Daihatsu Terios 4x4 and have only done about 9000 kms but have had 4 punctures (always the rear tyres) we are only taking the SUV on stoney roads not hectic 4x4 stuff but everytime we go we have to repair the tyres. We are looking for a good on/off road tyres that can take the karoo stones and will handle the Kalagadi and Namibian roads - any suggestions!

I assume you have the standard 215/65/16 tyres fitted?

You can have a look at the Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S, they are available in that size and in SA. Not sure what they would cost in SA but they are around $90 in the US.

I've never tried these myself but they have been getting very good reviews in the US and should give you more than you need on the Terios. Many Jeep owners over here opt for these as All terrain tyres.

Yes, currently have on Dunlop Grandtrek ST20 215/65/R16 also says M+S which I believe is for mud and snow, not Karoo stones! Probably why 4x punctures in <10K kms. I have also heard the Wranglers AT/R has anybody had any feedback on these tyres.
    Thanks

    Default Old school Terios

I added a set of 215/75/15 BFG's but I am not sure about the arches on the new models.
Looks good and does wonderful things off-road.
