    Default Weslake 3lt head

    Got my grubby paws on a Weslake 3lt head & manifold.... I was told that this puppy bolts straight onto my 2,6 (F type) and I'lI get a wopping 123 wild horses outta her..

    Anyone know anything else I need to know ?

    Rubbish.
    It's scrap. I will come around tomorrow to dispose of it for you.

    PS..... I have a 3 liter engine.....

    The 3l reference is for the Rover 3l inline 6 cylinder engine as fitted to the P5 Saloon cars.
    The engine is basically the 2.6 I6 engine with internal changes to increase displacement to 3l.

    Got some more bits for it.....28degree distributor, timing cover and a pair of Jag XJ6 carbs.....

    Now Iím undecided if I wanna mess with my perfectly running 2,6....( methinks Iím gonna wait for Johno to come back )

    I assume it is SU carbs?

    I have an old (I think 1964) Jeep Wagoneer with 3.8 liter Tornado engine with two SU carbs on it.
