    Default BFG AT sidewall damage

Yesterday I noticed this damage on the right rear tyre of a Prado parked next to me. Why did this tyre crack like this? Could it be from high-speed impact? I've never seen a tyre crack on the sidewall before, but have seen plenty of cuts.

    More like crushed not cracked...

Low tyre pressure high impact point load.

Donít blame yourself over past mistakes. Itís like driving down the N1 while looking in the rear view mirror only.

This is what happens if you underinflate a 5 ton truck with full load .The one on the outside burst first and before I could pull of the road the inside one went as well

I've had that happen on a (much) smaller scale when the 14 inch tyre on my quad bike trailer left us for Valhalla on the infamous R355.
