    Default Triton steering column loose

    Howdy
I almost had an accident yesterday on my way home when suddenly my steering column slipped out of its mounting brackets(collapsible steering in the event of an accident) the whole column was loose and I managed to stop without incident.
Question....... How the hell do I fix this.
I have put it back in position but it keeps slipping out.
    Thanx in advance

If you read the first post you will see the OP`s question was how do i FIX it.
It comes out of the factory with some kind of glue keeping it there to collapse if needed, over time with vibration it all comes apart. My Triton`s one was replaced free of charge while it was still under guarantee like thousands of them.
Pratley steel/Putty is also a glue and miles away from Welding or a permanent Fix.

Consider this as a semi permanent fix until you have the funds to replace.
