    Default Hilux tires

    Hi All,
I want to fit new tyres on my hilux.
It is a double cab 2018 2.8D SR.
I have a 2 inch lift in from Camel suspension. It has the standard factory 17 " steel rims on, not sure what the offset on those are.

Ideally, I want to fit 285/70/17's, but was advised that they will not fit and should rather go 265/70/17.
Has anyone fitted 285/70/17's with success? If yes, what mods did you do to get them to fit?
I'll try catch you if I can on the road...

Hi,I fit 17 " rims and stick to 265/70/17 Perhaps you can try 275. I switch to Bridgestone Dueler from BFG ,much softer.

With a 40mm lift, I have 285/75-17 on, they are bit to big, they are ok in normal off-road use but in extreme use they tend rub, so I think 285/70-17 would be fine…....just remember the bigger the tyre the worse your consumption
