Default 2014 Fortuner - ECU Anti theft plate + Unichip

    Hi everyone

I recently purchased a unichip q4, came of a 3.0 dvd Hilux, with 5 maps preset.

Now the question is, my Fortuner (3.0 d4d) has a anti-theft plate in front of the ECU - how do I remove this plate so I can connect the Unichip? Don't want to mess around there without knowing what I'm doing.

    Google not much help..

    Thanks in advance!

Why would you want a chip?
Always think: Could this be sarcasm?

I have various reasons for wanting to chip, but that's a discussion for another day perhaps.

    Rather remap

Chip messe up the fuel pressure
    Crank sensor

Just remove the chip out of my KB
Spoke to a guy here with a 2.8gd6 he chipped it and not long all the seals in the diesel pump blew out
