Default The Monthly Gauteng Breakfast Run - March 2020

Based on the requests on this thread https://www.4x4community.co.za/forum...con-9th-of-Feb, I bring you the breakfast run for March:

    When:
Sunday the 8th of March 2020

    Time:
    07h30 for 8am

    Where:
We meet just outside Magalies at the parking lot of "The Black Horse Brewery" (We might lose a few members there...)

    What:
A gravel route of about 40km towards Boons, Then over Breedts Nek (Keeping this theme for now) then down towards Buffelspoort Dam where we will have our breakfast/Brunch picnic.

    What Else:
The dam is quite nice with some trees and lawn, and those that want to wet their lines can bring a rod.

    Fees:
    R45/Vehicle and R30/adult under 12 is R20.

    What to bring:
Yourselves, Wood/Charcoal, Braai/Grid/Gas braai, your own stuff to braai, Chairs, Awnings, Tables, Hat and sunnies, Picnic Blankets etc. And for those who fish, bring your rods.

    Comms:
Please bring a vhf ORRA radio or your Zartek/flakvark radios

Hi Werner, I will add you to the list, I will give the ORRA channel details on the day, and VHF will be preferred, but bring your UHF with.

    Hi

I'm interested. Do you take newbies along as well?

So far I've only done a basic 4x4 course and some basic 4x4 activities. Also, I don't have any recovery gear.
