I'm subsribed to this Inskip Action channel.

    Lots of fun to watch.

The Patrol with the boat and snatch rope is a treat.

PS. Look out for the Yellow FJ. He shows up every now and then in the videos. That thing is just too good.

My favorite YT channel. Some nice vehicles and trailers, caravans and boats. Beautiful scenery interjected by the angry growl of motors chased to the redline. Some basics done right - many basics done wrong. Commentary a bit iffy. But my nightly sleeping aid.

It must be slightly annoying when you bogged down your kitted Patrol and a awd Ford Territory glides past you.

There is one thing about sand driving stop the moment you start to dig yourself in. Then tyre pressure the most basic 4x4 principal.
Did I just say tyre pressure. Sorry ignore what I have said

Thats it! I'm buying a Nissan. If that abuse couldnt break it then nothing will!

funny to see how some glide past and others battle their asses off. Who does a gearshift while doing a snatch recovery?

I find that watching those inskip videos frustrates me more than anything else. Initially it was fun to watch but now I just get annoyed. There are some real clueless idiots out there.

Am I missing something? Is that sand very soft/fine/powdery?

Or is it too much power and lack of deflation?

How can so many people get so stuck and the guys recovering them also dig holes.

They are too lazy to adjust tyre pressure properly.
Some cruise past them with absolutely no issues.

My front tyre pressures normally lower than rear - as per the vehicle manual. With the Indeflate gadget I need 6 minutes to deflate to 20 psi rears and about 2 minutes for the fronts. Airing up may take about the same. Nothing compared to the hassles once bogged down. But I enjoy watching the videos. Canít understand that the drivers there donít get the message though. But the Aussies do have some nice hardware there - I especially like the tray bins. Suppose there could be a market for those in ZA?

Inskip Point provides hours of entertainment on line or if you just drive there and watch the people do their sand games. Lots of inexperienced people and tourists get stuck there. Lots of too lazy to deflate tyres cowboys get stuck there.(reason the majority of people getting stuck) Lots of rich people towing massive caravans or boats get stuck there. Lots of beer ,rum or whiskey and the show is on ! It is the main spot to get on to the barge to Fraser Island . The sand gets extremely soft when it is dry and hot and the spinning of the Rambos getting stuck makes it worse. The ferry operators now pump seawater onto this spot so the people can get on the ferry easier. Just around the corner from Inskip is Mudlo Rocks and Rainbow beach( stunning sandy beach and sandstone cliffs) and Double Island Point. Mudlo swallows cars at high tide. DIP has a huge lagoon and great surfing or swimming. This is the 4x4 killing fields of Australia as the water at one spot is clear but DEEP . Many a 4x4 has died here too. Also on youtube if you search Double Island Point lagoon etc

Had to wait till about 21 and a half minute before Kaptein Voet in die hoek showed up. Very typical of some chops who surf our "open" beaches with their 4x4's.
