    Default African Ranches River Camp

Does anyone know if this camp is still up and running? Their website is not active or maybe it has changed. If the camp is still active, please forward me a contact number, email address or website. Thanks. Appreciated.

We stayed there in Oct, no booking - we just pitched and the guy at the gate let us in, the campsite manager then arrived later on his quad to get payment. It seems a very busy farm
Finally got rid of that annoying sound in the 4x4, opened the door and pushed him out

Thanks for the info. Can you remember what the daily tariff was?

Years ago I drove a 1995 110 Defender 300 Tdi from Cape Town to London (www.bosmansbigadventure.com) and loved the vehicle, which did that overland trip 3 times the last I heard of it. For nostalgic reasons and to continue the adventure, I recently bought another one, a 110 Defender 300 Tdi (1997) model with 345k on the clock. Mechanically it is quite sound for such an old vehicle. Unfortunately the previous owners badly messed up the wiring and hacked the aircon and other parts out of it. This is going to be a project Landie...
