    Default Nice cheap product.

I bought three of these very elegant lights at makro that look good and only cost R100.
They are rechargable and have three settings.I dont know how long they last as I dont have loadshedding tonight.

We bought a Magneto rechargeable LED light from Game for R200. The battery lasts for hours, good light, solar panel compatible and it has USB which I use to charge my phone when we have loadshedding. Best R200 ever spent.

What I like about them is they are suttle. The magneto gives you sunburn .

    Here it is at Makro

They don't mention the mAh energy charge in the ad.

Tried it for two hour loadshedding. So far they are brilliant.

    Thanks for this!
This is a small lamp for sure but it isn't a toy and does serve a purpose.
At full brightness it does last 4 hours (as claimed)
I was impressed to see the 16850 cell mounted in the base.
One has to give these offerings a chance. I would have liked a larger lamp but for R100 one needs to factor this in..

I find in loadshedding I just want a suttle background light. Some lights are just too overpowering. These have three settings and i find the lowest is nice and if you need a bit more its at the touch of a button. I dont know how they can make it for this price.

You can’t even buy a 16850 for R100, never mind the charge controller, plug and switch and LED lights.

I wonder if years from now they will be talking about the “Load Shedding” generation.

And there is even space to fit another 16850 in there.

Do you get a 16850 battery, or is it a 18650 battery?
If you make a noise or need music in the bush or on the beach, you’re missing the point.

    Quite observant!
Have you perhaps offered your services to the NPA?? (They need help with the prosecution of some of our politicians!)

    Neat lamp

I can see a nice mod to increase the run time,
by getting a dual bay from communica to run two in parallel, or a higher capacity 18650 , because those blue 18650 are notorious by the Chinese to be under 1000mah (especially with 4200mah printed on them , or blank)

I’ve opened up a few of these type light and Most of the battery load tests i’ve done are under 1000mAH

I suppose they would have to be to be able to sell a product with the battery included for R100.00
