Jy verwys seker na die gravel roader? Of is ek verkeerd.

Wil gaan kyk hoe hy lyk.

Ons was gister by die Caravan Show by Glalagher Estates en moet se was lekker om weer deur te loop tussen al die produkte
Ons is regtig bederf me n verskeidenheid produkte in SA en dis vir my of die kwaliteit net bly toeneem

So I bought an 2004 EFI SUV and cut off the back extended the chassis and did the suspension up to handle the weight as not a leaf suspension. The long and short of it is the vehicle cost me much less than a good second hand LC bakkie and I could put all the extras I wanted on. When towing my vlooi I used to get 6 km to the liter and now 5 km. At my age can't see my wife and I trying to slip on and off a bosluis. Especially if we intend to travel a lot in retirement. Also the added bins on the side etc swung my thinking. Our Bosluis 2 is currently being manufactured. I sincerely hope this project is a success. The cheaper vehicle allowed us to put on all the 4x4 accessories we needed on the vehicle which we would have had to do with an expensive bakkie.
    Interesting idea..

Hi all. On the wood I saw a bull bar on a LC which looked like a great plan for wood. Check out pic. You detach bars and put them in the two front pipe holders and then lay the wood in them. Only problem is you need to drive carefully to destination. Just a thought.
