As expected then. Glad this will clear up all speculation.

Now for the million dollar question. If they are only coming off the production line at this time.. How many persons may only be able to get their hands on it come 2022? There is no doubt going to be a waiting list..

That is true!, I can't wait till 2022 to buy a new bakkie, question is, do I buy a x-rider 4x4 now and trade again when it eventually launch or do I get a new Ranger now till then.

I would say get the X-rider just because that way you get to start your relationship with your local dealer for the future purpose of your next vehicle also being an Isuzu, in your case maybe Perdeberg or Reeds N1 city.

Go test drive the x-rider and the ford though just to have piece of mind.

I tend to think the X-rider will hold it's resale a bit better than the Ford. Especially if you plan on trading in in 1-2years time.

Im not sure what the equivelant ranger will go for but a 2020 X-rider 4x4 with 1500km demo, will be about 470k.

Just seen a model 2020 Mu-X. Has a minor facelift. And new mag. I took a pic but vehicle hasn't had centre caps fitted yet and not yet PDI'd and washed.

Will try remember to post one when it's been fitted and washed.

Very low-key as far as I can see (and was hoping!). My MUX remains "current". I will sleep soundly tonight.

    Thanks.

I was going to say : "current"... for the previous century maybe, but I won't. I Like Isuzu too much.

2022 is still a long time. By that time the other brands will have release something newer.

I don't believe this will be an issue. Isuzu is gaining market share and the fact that they are doing it with an aging product is incredible.

If Ford Toyota etc do have a newer model out in 2022 they will be selling their new product against the Isuzu new product. Based on what I have seen the new Isuzu will be streets ahead of the current model in terms of refinement and features.

I was going to say I'm surprised they'd bring out a facelift for the mux already, it's only been on the market for what feels like a few months.

But this is just some new wheels and a black bumper or have they made interior changes?

Good results so far. is it safe to assume Euro NCAP will get the same result?

Mau feel like a few months however it has in fact been in SA for near 2 years now. Think April will be 2 years.
