The Epic River Trip is now coming to it's final organisation stage

But! I have to back out of the organisation-
Due to health problems I'm not even sure if I can make it as a participant

So Hedgehog(Andrew) is taken over the event.
I'm sure he will be posting soon so keep your eyes on this thread.

I will try my best to make it but I didn't want to back out at the last minute...
    I hope you understand

Bob we hope you get well enough to join us. A river trip is not the same without you.

Guys and girls please indicate who on the list will still be coming?

I think we need this going with the hope that Showerhead’s ex decides to open the borders.

I will very likely not be able to
make it due to my personal circumstances potentially changing drastically soon. At this time I still don’t know, hoping to have the answer next week.

I truly hope we will be able to cross provincial borders by then.

Three things that I think really made my last River Trip that much better was the following:

    1) A small fold up braai
    2) An ammo box of charka briquettes
    3) A smallish spade to move coals etc.

The river wood is very dry but doesn’t hold heat well, so making a little separate fire apart from the main kuier vuur really worked well to braai every night.

    Enjoy the trip, it’s epic.

If things are still holding up this side with the current state of affairs and borders are open come end of July, we will definitely be there with the Triton.
Still need to build a frame for the RTT.

Unfortunately I too will not be able to make it.

At our age and with my wifes lung conditions we just cant take that chance.

    Enjoy.
