    Default Ford 4x4

I am looking at a 4x4 will be my first.
    I have between 300 000 to 350 000.
What can I buy in the ranger with low milage(will also be my daily driver).
Do you get extended warranties on them and if so which one is the best. Scared of driving a diesel out of warrenty.

Your budget should get you a 2 year old Ranger 4x4 XL 2.2 manual. You do get to buy an extended warranty, as long as you get it before the factory warranty runs out.

Needing a bakkie more than an SUV, I traded my Everest in on a Ranger 2.2 XLS, 2016 model, my second Ranger.
I chose my previous Ranger XL and Everest with 2.2 engines. Never had any issues and it is capable enough however also economical.

The XLS spec gives one just a few extra comforts not at the price of an XLT and not as basic as the XL. One of my "must haves" was cruise control. The XLS also has rain sensing wipers and at least the Sync (1) radio, which Ford decided to remove from the XL 4x4's after 2016. Also has auto headlights, which are luckily adjustable and front fog lights.

Got a 2016 XLS 2.2 4x4 DC (Manual) with 89k on odometer for under R300k, from a Ford dealer, with full service history and I extended the warranty an additional 3 years.

    I'm happy....

Looking at the XLT, it is quite a bit extra for an 8" screen, leather, 17" rims, some connection comforts and chrome bits. It is however very nice but everyone doesn't want the same thing. As nice as the XLT is, I am just not a fan of the Chrome bits.
I also forgot to mention the rear PDC with the XLS.

I like the black bits more than chrome bits. I got a set of XLT rims for my XLS for R4k. I had a set of 17" BF's from my Everest, so sort of "had" to get the rims.

I got the chrome pack free with my XLS, and 17" wheels. Anton also forgot to mention the reverse camera, and mine has Sync2.

Xlt wont fit into the budget of the OP. Especially one with warranty left. Good xls might still work.

Looking at the used bakkie prices now, I got my XLS at a very good price.

Take this from an XL owner: the 3.2 (and 2.2) XLT, pre-latest facelift, are by far the world's best looking trucks.
