    Default African Horse Sickness

We are nearing the end of horse sickness season. But just a heads up there have been four reported cases this month already with outbreaks in Pretoria Gauteng, Camperdown KZN and in Parys Freestate.

We just need a good frost then we can all cross our fingers for ten days.
    Goodluck!!

My nonsense gets her booster every year, but the vet told me last year that it's unnecessary to vaccinate her again because she's been getting the injections regularly, and because she's getting older her system might not be able to handle it so well. According to him she will have built up a good immunity by now....hope so!
