    Hi All

Thanks for the add. Great forum for overlanding, with the few threads i have read.

Look forward to improving my knowledge on the vehicles too.

Avid fan of seeing our country & neighbouring states on 4 or 2 wheels.

Currently own a LR D3 & D4, both have given stirling service to date.

    Hi All...
I just joined this forum, certainly looks informative at a glance. I sold my Jeep Cherokee Renegade 2wd for a 2011Mits Paj Sport 4x4. Hope to do some offroad stuff soon...need to check out my Owners Manual first to get to grips with 2wd/ Awd/ and 4H / 4 L.
    Please advice...Stay well

Tips to new members. Mmmmm, let's see:

    1. never say anything negative about a Toyota. They are the best. Klaar, uit en gedaan
    2. never, ever admit to paying e-tolls. You must vehemently discourage anybody who does so
    3. Fit a light bar. It is safer than normal spots and the law regarding them is outdated
    4. never post a pic of an Amarok on a trail. That is tantamount to treason and we all know they can't 4x4 in any case

All above tongue firmly in cheek of course

    Nys you forgot:

    5) never search for and read up on information that is already available, always start a new thread by asking a question that has been discussed over and over before.

    6) start the next Hilux vs (any other bakkie) thread and don't give any information about your intended use!

    7) Cranks on the LandRovers are all myths. They are general maintenance items. Remember to replace the motor every 200 000km.

DO NOT EVER ask any fellow forum member about the fuel consumption
Always think: Could this be sarcasm?

    # 9) 2SO or snake oil or similar words must rather be used to explain the process of extracting liquid from a snake which will be used or applied in relation to either some ancient Chinese embalming process or Thai massage lucky final event. Never ever relate it to anything mechanical or motorised. A third alternative may be some chemical formula, however the Chines or Thai references have a better chance to get positive feedback from all concerned. In the end that is.

Eish guys, it is quite simple really - just NEVER upset Dirk and DO NOT brand bash.

At least make a token effort to stick to 4x4, off road, overlanding or vehicle related subjects.
Yes I know I am also guilty but the the PUB section is the PUB section for a reason.

Oops I see this was NOT in the pub section.

Please go to the pub section if applicable .....
