Castle lite, craft beer, but I prefer an IPA

Bourbon and soda and wine. Only started drinking wine properly about 5 years ago. Before that I would only drink it with a cheese tasting.

    Captain dark and tab.
    Potstill brandy. Uitkyk the favourite

Too many beers and captain together over a few days like rugby world cup and past December the gout comes on.

Been on the beer for years and when I started regular rum on top of the beer the nonsense started.
    So now mostly just beer

Jeagermeister used to be the housewine of choice in small glasses here, but the last time it and the namboyz were involved it ended up in quite a story and south african insurance companies leaving the country etc.

+1 on Monkey Shoulder (and also Bains)

A nice Cab Sav, or when budget allows, a Meerlust Rubicon.

For a brewski, Kilkenny is great. Or a Black Label.

Any other brandy leads to amnesia, gout, and terrible babbelas. Premium only makes you moegies.

I drink far too little alcohol unfortunately, started because of my occupation, but has been allowed to persist post retirement.

For me there is nothing like a good meal to spoil my alcohol endeavours. So if I feel like going big in suitable company, I often eat very little.

I mainly enjoy a good few Heinekins but during the day, a good few G's and T's go down very well. With a meal a few glasses good red wine (prefer Bordeaux blends), but usually will have lost momerntum by then.

If with a bunch old good friends (far too seldom), I will skip the grub, fill up on Heinekin and finish off on Captain Rum and Coke. To my late father's disgust, despite my best efforts, I have not been able to acquire the taste for any sort of whisky.
