    Default Daihatsu rocky parts

Hello fellas anyone have an old Rocky lying around. I'm keen on some parts. There has to be a sick one somewhere that can "donate" some organs.

These vehicles are scarce in South Africa - I had one, sold it earlier this month, never did see another one for sale or even on the roads in my area.

AFAIK Prof has two of them. Maybe pm him and ask him. He should be able to direct you where to get parts.

WOW! I have had the runner round with trying to source parts. Was told that no parts were available by Mayfair gearbox, admit, they got the answer from the daihatsu dealership spares department.

Long story short. I go to the dealership to enquire I get greeted with a smile until I mention the word "Rocky" . Sorry we can't help you. NOT,, the words I want to hear.

Turns out Japan has stock. Halaluya!

Thanks to Craig the parts manager at AutoMall East London parts orded and paid for. You deserve a Bells!

Hi there, relieved to hear about Rocky parts at least still available ex Japan.
Advise please - need 2 (could be used but straight) pushrods, mine have been badly bent after cambelt broke. Can order via Kia Multifranchise but 28 days delivery. Maybe somebody on the Forum has a few unwanted ones ?

B.t.w. please concur - looking at the cambelt cover - ventilation port on the lefthand side - mine has never had the pipe/filter as shown in Service Manual. Fan blew dust onto cambelt and crank, camshaft and diesel pump sprockets. Only noticed that hole after radiator shroud and fan removed, ai,ai.

Both mine has pipe from cambelt cover up to the underside of air intake piping.

    Can't help with pushrods.
