    2 males 1 female on board. They worked for SAACA and were doing calibration tests on the George airport equipment. 10 minutes into flight comms lost.

    Quick correction....

    It is a SACAA plane, ie South African Civil Aviation Authority and not SAACA

    From reports it seem the flight might have gone down in the Eight Bells area.

    VERY sad.

    And yes, I think this really couldn't have come at a worse time, in the light of SAA's problems, etc etc etc.

    I think there's gonna be some very hard questions asked, and some straight answers required here.
