I stopped watching purely due to excessive use of language. Why the need for it I don't know... but how anyone can take him seriously is beyond me.

    Ja-nee....

This guy is obviously a Youtube hero in his own mind. Much like some other "car journalists" that we all know all to well.

Each and every one of them out there to broadcast their BS opinions to the masses and sell it as fact.

You have to love social media.

    Spot on.

I think he is actually quite knowledgeable, but most of what he says, I think, is for effect.

    Much like JC for example.

I particularly liked his piece on Carlos Ghosn.

If you have to tell people in advance you are going to be interesting and entertaining...

Its like Seinfeld walking on stage and saying he is going to be funny and irreverent.

    What a box.

"Jumbo-sized bag of foreskin biltong." Maybe it's just me, but do I detect some dislike of JLR - management and products - in this vid? I find the crusty old fart entertaining and knowledgeable about customer service. The swearing is part and parcel of his whole persona, I personally don't mind it.

As it has been proven so many times on this forum:

It's not WHAT you say, but HOW you say it!

(there are SA comedians who also believe that it can only be funny if you use the crudest language )

Problem is if you loose your audience before you get to your message

I enjoy his programs. I can't see how a grown man can get upset with a bit of swearing.
