    Just an FYI / update
    Eish...
Firstly this Dealership principal agreed to get the vehicle towed to Williams Hunt pta in order to get the repairs done, which I fully agreed with after all.. having Isuzu work on the car and all Isuzu parts at the agents... this was great news.. LOL!!!! But after 3 days the tow truck never pitched up to get the vehicle towed. No reason given as to why.... This dealership's mechanic was even at the workshop to inspect / see the damage (but I don't think he has x-ray vision... how could he see through metal LOL!!)
And no work has been started on the motor... dealership giving me the run around...
As mentioned earlier... The vehicle was at the mechanics / technicians workshop, where the motor was removed, and sent off to the engineers..(All of this was agreed to with the Dealer principal, and myself, and the mechanic - letter to go ahead with repairs -provided by the dealership.
Hence we went ahead and got an estimate / quote...The ESTIMATE was at +/- R42000
The actual quotation came back at +/- R46000.00 (however certain parts not included in this quote as it is ONLY available from agents, so the total will be +/- R55000.00) i.e diesel pump / gasket set , etc..he is now dealing directly with the engineers... have apparently already ordered the parts from Williams Hunt PTA, and hopefully work will start on Friday.

Seems like the ball has now started rolling...
Contacted Williams Hunt directly, spoke to Sales manager. He confirmed parts are ordered / paid for and will be delivered to the engineers to start work on the motor.

    Somebody screwed up, big time!

Either the head or the block is warped - I cannot imagine a new gasket will leak on a newly machined sub.

    Hi all...
I wen't to test drive the Isuzu today... something bothers me...
When driving on open road / freeway... car performs well / drives well (turbo kicks inn/ power is there) However, as soon as I drive in / around town.... car is very sluggish/lazy...
I can feel the turbo kick inn, but it does not "GO" if I can put it that way....and as soon as I get to a hill.. this thing is as dead as a door nail... NO POWER...
What can this be (turbo pipe loose somewhere/ wire not making contact) ?
Car is still with the mechanic to have this checked our though...

Go and drive a similar vehicle and compare.
My sc 2.5 goes really really well for a 100 kw motor.

Yours could be the 85 though?
