    Default Mabuasuhebe Campsites

Good day apologies if this has been answered here before. Except for Bosobogolo what other camping sites are solely operated by Botswana National parks and not Privately manged by tour operators?
    Thanks, Alwyn

on Khiding, the sites have been changed as per map in link above.
1 is now the site with views of pan,
2 is the old 1. basically the rhs site as viewing the pan.

hope it helps when making bookings.

Wonder why that would be? Maybe someone changed the numbering around when he got the "wrong"site :-)

Definitely changed by some idjit. Happened in Deception valley as well, (Deception1 and 2, as per gps, 3 and 4 changed due to three being a crappy site, 5-7. as per gps.
DWNP, I am sure, will not change the nr's, unless a spesific reason, and leave all the others the same. Imagine the hassles, should you have camped in Kiding two before, and specifically, due to the view, booked it again, and at arrival, someone occupying your site due to the, so called, change in nrs. All the way back to the gate to try and sort it out, just because someone previously changed the nrs. to suit himself/herself. Unless done by DWNP themselves, I can foresee some heavy arguments.

This happened to me at Rooiputs. Some chancer had changed 5 and 6 for obvious reasons. It resulted in me having to do a very stressful round trip of 50 kms back to Two Rivers to report.Thankfully when I got back to Rooiputs (with permission to occupy the true No. 6), it was still unoccupied which saved a huge battle. I must add that the Bots officials arrived at my site very shortly after my return to back me up if No. 6 had been hijacked.

I was there in October 2019 and site 2, left one as you looking at the pan, was still site 2 the one with better views and smaller than site 1. Someone changed it, for sure.

It actually boggles the mind, that someone would think that doing this was ok. Hope it gets sorted.
