A great and super interesting vid...not only was it far more objective than any of the other reviews you see on YT, I actually learnt a ton.

    Thanks for the post!

Your wrong the Holden Colorado is 5mm lower (215mm for Colorado and previous model Triton was only 205)

    Correct about the rest though

Posting for a mate... he just moved to AUS... picked up his brand new UTE just before Christmas and got the canopy last week...

He's happy as a pig in poo with his new Triton 4WD Automatic... it ticked all the boxes and came in at the right price... a clear winner there...

I skipped to the end to see who the winner is, will watch the full video tonight. I don't know why one should be shocked about the winner though, it is what I expected (unashamedly biased).

good looking truck that, but wow, that rear overhang is massive....... will need a pretty decent lift to get that out the way...... or pull the bin off, and build a proper flatdeck

RPiet, the options over there are overwhelming. He was tempted by the flatback options... but then the Triton is not the most popular base... the price goes up as the goodies go on... and he's still thinking in Rands...

This vehicle will be perfect to pull one of their (depending who wins, him or SWAMBO) off road or semi off road caravan... not the real hectic stuff...

    A fair review.

If you take the matrix they use to present the numbers and then decide which criteria are important to you and leave out the ones that arent and re-total based on your important ones, it should give you a fair comparison.

If a canopy isnt important or towing, then delete those scores and see what is the adjusted total

I am not surprised by the result. I believe the Pajero Sport will similarly come out tops against its competition. They are very underrated vehicles.

I don't know why every vehicle (brand and type) must be compared to the next one. Every one is unique and does or doesn't fit the expected buyer. If the vehicle really needs to be compared in the circumstances it needs to be tested the same driver should be used in exactly the same conditions. Just my 2c's

This video was not a yawn fest. I have watched every 4WD Action video to date and these guys are very real and genuine guys. Yes they are sponsored a lot, but they really do give mostly objective opinions.

What I did pick up in the video was a slight bias towards the D-Max on a few points, but thats because Graham Cahill has used one in their videos for a long time and hes a big part of their show/setup.

    Lekker video

Very good comparison, and from experience I agree with it mostly, the only problem is that you have to be more subjective, especially when applying to SA........buy a Mitsubishi here at your own risk I'm afraid

The back up is dismal imo, a colleague waited close to five weeks for a steering rack sensor for a new PS and when it arrived it was the wrong part, they eventually swopped out a part from their floor..............sorry but sitting without a vehicle for six weeks ain't gonna do it for me, no matter how good it is........and its not the only story ........ Mitsu in Australia is much more sorted!
