Victron Energy MultiPlus or Quattro is the best in my opinion. Charger and Inverter

Do you intend charging via PV or just need an inverter?

Just be aware the inverters on Banggood/EBAY quote the maximum short time Watts and not the regular continues Watts. Also the below R1000 models are modified sine. Further they even offer some 10 000W to 12 000W for below R1 000 and there is no ways that these unit will ever be able to provide that amount of power reliably if at all.

Tests have revealed say a 3000W max will cut out before it reached 3000W.

Honestly, the infamous Axpert in either 1 or 2kW version is about the best bang for buck you can get for this type of application.

You get proper intelligent mains charge controller, VERY VERY decent pure sine wave inverter, and a MPPT Solar charge controller thrown in for fun.

And it’s one compact self contained device. No separate boxes with interlinking cables and aftermarket/afterthought add on BMS or expensive BT and CAN bus complexity “optional” things.
    Cheers

That looks like an excellent choice.

Looks like VICTRON are eventually coming ashore.

And guess what? The battery cables connect to the battery with croc clamps?

The actual size is no bigger than my 1 000W inverter.

Best to go 48V on the batteries for that high load.

A lekker 333.33amps and if you add some nice 2.5mm cable like some poeple do, you can build a super nice TV grill setup for you to make food on while inverting

They nice units to use if you want to build a cheap setup for just running small stuff, but they not reliable units because with all the stuff that's build in to one unit, and one thing go's then a lot of other stuff follows. I can show you some nice pics how it looks inside and all the problems with. I had my teeth cut on one and paid some nice school fees on a 5kw one that lasted 2 months, and this after it got the code 09 error "code of death we call it"

you can't go wrong with a Victron inverter. Mine is 800W/24V and have only had good service since 2015.

Hahahah!! i actually spotted the other day someone selling a ups setup with 4 batteries, and everything was connected with car jumpers to the unit. I hope he knows hoe warm that connection points will get.

I'm using a MLT powerstar inverter in my solar setup https://mltinverters.com/our-product...star-inverter/ , Min cable size is 50mm2 to use and recommended size is 75mm2.

A lot of people slack on this part where they need to run equal lengths of cable and the rite mm2 size to. Some did a test the other day where they where pulling 150 amps on a 12v lifepo4 battery setup on 25mm2 cables and with the laser heat unit it showed 85'C on the 25mm2 cable.
