I have since found out that none of the affiliated Amazon companies will export.
All of a sudden my cc works, but not everytime.
I find if I turn it on as I start, it comes on and stays on.
So I will ride it till it breaks properly then we will know where the problem lies.
    Thanks for all you help.

When my cruise control stopped working it was due to a faulty wheel speed sensor. Have that checked out first. Very common error and I think it was R550 for e new one back then. The crazy thing is that if you first start the engine and then press the cc on button and THEN the set button, it stays on and works.

This is the latest on my cruise control.
As you start the engine and switch it on, it comes on for a minute then the light goes out and it's dead.
    But
If when you start the engine and switch on the cc and keep pressing the set button it will stay on and engage as soon as you hit 40.
You can then drive as far as you like and it will work, until you have to stop, then it's dead.
It's not the clock spring as all the other buttons work.
It's not the on off switch as it works when it works.
It's not the brake switch and it's not the steering sensor.
    It's got me beat.
Surely there is a module somewhere or a relay.
I've learnt to live without it but I would like to get to the bottom of it.

The problem was traced to the cruise control switch on the steering wheel.
Quote for part only via the agents.......R3726.
I have imported the genuine Mopar part from Amazon.....R1239 delivered to my door in PE.
Having it fitted for about R500.

If the cruise control steering wheel module is anything like the left side switch module to replace, which I suspect it should be, you can save yourself the R500 fitment fee and do it yourself.
It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to do if you have a set of torx screwdrivers.
Just disconnect the battery before removing the airbag.

I would have done it myself but I'm a bit wary of the airbag.
Anyway they fitted the new switch and it is basically as it was before. Not fixed.
They think it must be a faulty connection.
I'm going to try the hard reset. Disconnect the battery for at least an hour.

Well, if you need to remove/refit the switch module again for some reason, as long as you disconnect the battery and be careful the airbag will be fine.
You don't even need to disconnect any of the airbag's wires. You can just move it aside to get to the screws.

    Hope you get it sorted.

Disconnected the battery for about an hour, still the same. Comes on for a bit and then gone.
    I'll live with it.

    Thanks, I'll check them next.
The thing is when it cuts out the light goes out.
It doesn't just trip, it switches off.
