    Default Voltage fluctuation

Does anyone know what could cause this:
Have a national luna battery box, 105 ah agm aux battery ,wrnd unit and solar panels.
Suddenly, plugging in the dc charger for 10w portable floodlight, the voltage reading on the battery box is all over the place - 13.4, 11.2, 12.9 etc, cycling between these readings every second or so. Unplug the floodlight charger and it stays at 12.7 which is the actual soc.
All I can think of is that there is a fault with the floodlight battery but can't figure out why it would affect the volt meter on the battery box.
If the loodlight battery is faulty, could charging it damage the aux battery?

How long does the floodlight battery last after a charge?

Can also be a trickle charge that is causing the V to fluctuate.

I would not worry too much.l

It's an led floodlight, lasts about 3 hours if left on.
Have charged it many times on the nl box, never done this wild voltage reading before.
I'm doing without it for the rest of this trip, just in case.
The aux battery wasn't receiving charge at the time, unless current can come through from the cranking battery via the wrnd unit.
Not sure if this is possible with the engine off?

Check to see if you don't have a bad connection or damaged wire.

    Thanks for that.
Wires are fine, bad connection possible. The floodlight charger plugs into a cigarette lighter socket on the nl box and there was a lot of dust. After cleaning everything when I got home, it worked fine!
